Subaru recently expanded their presence in the United States after the Japanese automaker opened its newest dealership in California. The said dealership is located in Puente Hills, California. It is just another sign that the automaker is serious in its expansion in the country.
According to reports, the Subaru of Puente Hills will be managed by Garff Automotive Group. It is also reported that 34 staff members will be hired initially. This number of employees will cover sales, service, and vehicle technicians.
The opening of the said delearship was attended by officials of Subaru of America Inc., Subaru of Puente Hills, and distinguished individuals from the locality. Needless to say, the VIP event was held in order to catch the attention of Puente Hills' residents.
Speaking at the opening of the dealership, Tomohiko Ikeda, Chairman, President, and Chief Executive Officer of Subaru of America Inc said that they are counting on the knowledge of Puente Hills' residents to boost their sales in California.
"We are pleased to be in Puente Hills because the LA market is important for Subaru as it has been one of the fastest growing markets in the United States," said Ikeda. "It is clear that the strength of the Subaru brand is attracting new dealer investment to our franchise. Our product line up is the best in the company's history and the active and environmentally conscious people of Puente Hills will appreciate the strength of our brand."
With the reliability of Subaru vehicles and its
auto parts, the company is looking to provide the needs of Californians for durable vehicles. The opening of the said dealership is in the middle of sales growth for the Japanese automaker.
For the past five months, Subaru posted increased sales month after month. This may have played an important role in the opening of the Puente Hills dealership. Apart from the five months of continued sales growth, Subaru also boast of an all-time high sale in May this year. With its strong lineup of vehicles with reliable
auto parts, it is not surprising that the Japanese automaker is attracting more and more American auto buyers.
The dealership has been designed to let customers feel at ease inside thus aiding them in choosing which Subaru will be right for them. As is usual in Subaru dealerships, the service bay where vehicles are being fixed are can be viewed from the customer's lounge area.
