Apple iPhone vs Nokia N95: Powerful Collision

One of the most spectacular gadgets of the year, the Apple iPhone is a
cool communication tool with superb musical capabilities. The Apple
iPhone is basically a Internet-enabled Quad Band GSM device with EDGE
data network support. On the communication part, the iPhone works as a
mobile phone and on the entertainment part, it includes functions like
a camera, a portable media player, text messaging and visual voicemail.
It also offers Internet services including e-mail, web browsing, and
local Wi-Fi connectivity. User input is accomplished via a multi-touch
screen with virtual keyboard and buttons.

The Apple iPhone is equipped with a 3.5 inch LCD HVGA touch screen (320
x 480 pixels) topped with optical-quality scratch-resistant glass. The
iPhone features a built in 2.0 megapixel camera located on the back for
still digital photos, but not video recording. It also includes
software that allows the user to upload, view, and e-mail photos. The
user zooms in and out of photos by "unpinching" and "pinching" them
through the multi-touch interface. The software interacts with iPhoto
on the Mac. The iPhone comes in a choice of 4GB and 8GB memory module.

Now come to the features and functionalities of the powerful
Nokia N95. Equipped with a two-way slider opening mechanism, the Nokia
N95 can be opened either ways. With an integrated 5 megapixel autofocus
camera, the Nokia N95 captures impressive stills and videos. Music is
as good as ever in a Nokia-the phone has a built-in music player with
multiple formats support (MP3, AAC, AAC+, eAAC+ and WMA). Connectivity
is brilliantly controlled through 3G, Bluetooth, USB 2.0, Pop Port,
EDGE and WLAN Wi-Fi. Other notable features in the Nokia N95 include
Quad Band support, GPS Navigation, second camera (CIF), handsfree
speaker, voice recording, voice dialing, Nokia Music Manager, voice
commands, document viewer, push to talk etc. The phone has also got a
clear and vibrant 16 million colour TFT screen with an effective
resolution of 240 x 320 pixels.
