Formula One driver Jenson Button has won his first victory at the Hungarian Grand Prix that took place in Budapest, while Schumacher got one point closer to Fernando Alonso during the race.

At the beginning, the rain was present in the race concluding with a little bit of sun but neither Fernando nor Schumacher could finish in good terms. For Button, the weather was not an impediment; actually the driver declared that after 10 laps he didn't want the race to end.

Jenson was followed by Pedro de la Rosa of Maclaren Mercedes and by Nick Heidfeld in a BMW Sauber.

The seven - time Ferrari champion Michael Schumacher was gone with three laps remaining and he said to be disappointed because "they had a great opportunity but they did not take it". Now Schumacher is second with 90 points and Alonso is first with 100 points.

After 113 races on his career since 2000 this is Button's first victory with 30.8 seconds ahead of De La Rosa. The driver started in 14th place on the grid penalized for an engine change Saturday. In fact, he was the first British winner since David Coulthard three seasons ago.

For Button, those laps were the best ones of his career especially after coming from 14th place and winning at the end. It was definitively a perfect way to triumph.
