The only country in the world with an eligible monarch fascinates with its beauty of Nature, excellent hotels and high- quality service.

The Petronas Twin Towers: The pride and joy of Kuala Lumpur. They rise 452 meters high and until recently they were the highest architectural facility in the world. Malaysia enchants by its incredibly beautiful Nature of dense, thick, dark- green tropical forest and beaches with fine white sand; by fascinated combination of colonial and modern architecture; by the bright and sunny weather and last but not least by the cheerful mood of always smiling natives. There, the roads are without any unevenness, hotels - more than excellent and service- just perfect. The flowing music from everywhere and the incredible lavishness of bright lights in which cities and resorts are bathed every night arouse a feeling of an endless party and celebration. Got in such a splendid atmosphere a foreigner can do nothing but to indulge in it and have an unforgettable vacation. Malaysia can offer a lot not only marvelous sights of its land but also excellent resorts where one can totally take a rest and relax. The capital Klaula Lumpur is one of the most beautiful and impressing cities in the world. Undoubtedly the most appealing tourist attraction that ranks above the others is the eighty- eight- floor Petronas Twin Towers which until recently was considered the highest building in the world. At the eighty- third floor, to which are admitted only special guests one can enjoy taking bird's eye- view of the whole city and can get pictures of hundreds of skyscrapers that surround the Twin Towers. Tourists can also have great time and totally entertain themselves at the countless night clubs, bars and restaurants located in the area called 'The Golden Triangle'. Those who burn with the zeal for going shopping can satisfy it in the numerous enormous shops. If one finds that boring they can kill time by swimming or sun- bathing in some swimming pool or if they are interested in art they can go and draw 'batik'. So this 1,4- million- inhibited city offers all kinds of entertainments cater for all tastes. Actually, those who believe that Malaysia is in the list of developed countries should know that a surprise is laid before them. The 25- million- inhibited country with a territory triple bigger than Austria stays head and shoulders in many aspects above the others.

TV Tower: Malaysians take proud of the fact that they possess the highest TV tower in the world. The height of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of the country is 6.8 per cent. This is a country of high standard and the middle class is prevalent. About 40 per cent of the households belong to the middle class. Although hundreds of thousands of illegal workers come from Indonesia and Fiji the unemployment in the country is only 3.4 per cent. What's more there is a blooming of sound international investments in the country. Many businessmen and contractors from 40 foreign countries have started over three thousand projects in the Asian country. Names of countries such as USA, Japan, Germany and Singapore belong to the list of the investors. High Technologies in Malaysia gain remarkably fast speed. The average salary in the industrial sector is about 437 dollars. Maybe that's the reason why there aren't any beggars and badly dressed people at Kuala Lumpur and everybody seems to be untroubled and to feel at ease.

The country is famous for the fact that its monarch is eligible. It is a constitutional monarchy and at the same time it is parliamentary democracy. Malaysia is a federation, which consists of thirteen states and three federal territories. Kuala Lumpur, the administrative capital Putrajaya and the island Labuan are governed by the federal government not only by the local authorities. Sultans are in charge of the 9th states and their task is to elect among them the monarch of the country for course of five years. However, the Prime Minister and the government hold the executive power in the country.

New mosque is built near the airport and it definitely impresses with its architectural features. The Royal Palace is one of the splendid sights of Kuala Lumpur but unfortunately the access to it is denied and ordinary tourists can only take pictures of its high and solid fence- walls. About ten million tourists visit annually the Asian country. Apart from being interesting with its exotic Nature and offering excellent conditions for a rest Malaysia is also very attractive because of the low prices of the service. A price per day in a luxurious hotel in Kuala Lumpur varies in 60 dollars and it includes a breakfast and the usage of all hotel facilities such a swimming pool, a fitness and etc. The rates of taxi service are also reasonable and everyone can afford a tour around the city by a taxi. The national currency of Malaysia is ringgit (MYR) as one dollar is about 3.8 ringgits. About 15 ringgtis cost the passing through the more than the half of the city by taxi. However, one should be careful because some taxi drivers tend to cheat on. That's why it is advicable to make a little consultation with natives about the price for a certain distance. Although the taxi drivers are supposed to give cash accounts to their customers it is also possible one to negotiate in advance the price for a certain tour.

Dinner in Kuala Lumpur: To go and visit some restaurants in the capital it is not expensive at all. There, one can find great variety of different Asian cuisine- not only Malaysian one but also there are Japanese, Chinese, Thai and Vietnamese restaurants. Indulging in the pleasure of tasting delicious meals and having abundant and rich diner, which involves soup, salad, main meal and two or three cans of beer will cost not more than 50 ringgits. The enter for night clubs is free and once per week all ladies' drinks are free too. The local guides advise tourists to be careful about their bags and hand- luggage because there are muggers who can pinch them. No matter that fact Kuala Lumpur is safe place for walks at streets and for visits of discos and bars at the night.

Let's take a view of the capital of the Asian country from the Twin Towers. Kuala Lumpur at the day is quite different and contrasts with the night city. At the day one can see mainly women with kerchief such as the most shop- assistants. The official religion in Malaysia is Islam. And the Muslims are about 5.7 per cent of the whole population of the country. 19 per cent of the people in Malaysia determinate themselves as Buddhists and also there are others who profess Hinduism, Confucianism and Christianity. Actually, the ethnical picture in the country is quite variegated. The population is mixed: 65 per cent- Malaysians; 25.4 per cent- Chinese and 7.5 per cent Indians.

However, at the evenings the city changes completely. The streets and night clubs get crowdy and full of modern and well- dressed young girls with mini skirts and scant T- shirts. In bars and discos one can hear only the latest hits from the charts.

Marketplace in China Town: One of the most interesting place in the Malaysian capital is 'China Town'. The sensible advice of every guide will be no to go there but statistics shows that all tourists pass through that remarkable place. So at the market of China town one can find whatever they want for a fiver. All kind of exotic tropical fruit, faked glasses and watches of all worldwide brands, all kinds of pirates CDs and DVDs are available there just for ridiculous price. So the trade in this area of the city is brisk and flourishing and of course the hard bargain is absolutely obligated and prerequisite for a good deal. In Malaysian capital one can find also technics such as cameras, monitors, printers and other devices. To make a good deal depends only on one's nerves of steel, their patience and their ability of negotiate. Usually, at first the quoted prices can put anyone off because they seem to be even higher than those in Europe and USA although the production is domestic. Huge trade centers are established especially for the sale of technics. At the other places the products are usually second hand and the reduction of the price is almost impossible.

The orientation in Kuala Lumpur is not difficult. Even if one is get lost they can rely on the local people. Most of them know English and they are so kind and ready to help anyone to find their way. Actually, some of the small sultanates that are included in present Malaysia used to be English colonies from the end of the 18th century until the middle of the 20th century. During the Second World War the whole country was occupied by Japan and after that again by Great Britain. Malay became independent country on the 31st of August in 1957. Before British domination the sultanates were under Portuguese and Dutch influence. These historical facts have deep impact on today's life of the country, on its architectural style and on the attitude that natives adopt towards foreigners.
